Configuring Inventory Sync

When configuring the Web Shop, you can choose to let products in the shop be without inventory control, this is something you configure in PrestaShop, and it will mean that shoppers can always buy the products in the web shop. You can also manually control available stock for each product in the web shop, but the recommended way is to let Business Central control inventory and update it in the shop at fixed intervals.

Configuring inventory sync​

1. Choose inventory to sync​

Open the Shop Configuration page and scroll to the **Inventory Management" section:

  1. Toggle Sync Inventory on. If this toggle is off, you can control inventory entirely in the Web Shop or using another inventory management solution.

  2. You can choose to sync all available inventory for an item in BC to be available in the shop, or by selecting a Location in the Location Code dropdown, you can make a single location control the web shop inventory. You can for example create a location called "Online" and assign that to control available Web Shop inventory.

  3. Periodic sync : By selecting the Inventory Sync frequency, and enabling the MyShopMan Inventory Sync job in the job queue in BC, you can update the Web Shop Inventory with the desired frequency.
